Una computadora de durapax es exhibida en la vitrina de una librería del centro de San Salvador, con ella se pretende enseñar las partes de la computadora a los alumnos de preparatoria, mientras tanto en la India se trabaja en la fabricación de una computadora de 20 dólares que será repartida entre estudiantes con el fin de alcanzar una verdadera revolución informática y acelerar la enseñanza.
Sobre esto el sitio pospost indica que el gobierno de la India, a través de su Programa Educativo 'Sakshat', anunció que en seis meses empezará a comercializar una computadora de $20, destinadas a los alumnos de más de 18 mil institutos y 400 universidades del país; informó El Mundo citando al Financial Times.
Las computadoras (notebokks) tendrán capacidades de "2Gb de memoria rápida y conectividad inalámbrica", y actualmente es desarrollada por científicos de tecnología de Vellore, Bangalore y Madrás.
Como señaló Pos post anteriormente "De esta forma, mejora considerablemente la oferta de la computadora de 100 dólares, que viene ofreciéndose para el mercado de América Latina, a través del Instituto de Tecnología de Massachusetts (MIT), del catedrático estadounidense Nicholas Negroponte".
Según la información: "Gracias a la producción en masa de este dispositivo, el Ministerio indio de Educación afirma que incluso podría resultar más barato, y algunos hablan de un ordenador por el precio de 10 dólares".
